Message for Absence and Not signed in/out

The message for a missed sign in /out and the message for confirming an absence are the same. Can we please have two messages, one for each circumstance. It undermines the whole process if parents aren't sure what they are confirming and we would save time assuring parents that their children weren't absent

Has this been addressed.. Given that it was requested back in 2020? Thank you

Families not signing in and educators sign in on behalf of families.

Is there another word that can be used when a family has not signed in/out and we have to override it. This is only for when the child has attended. 'Absent' to used only when child is actually absent?

Message for NOT signed in/out

When a parent forgets to sign in/out or the system is not working for whatever reason and the Services signs in on their behalf the message that appears is the child is ‘absent’ the wording is confusing and parent are hesitate to sign off unless I explain.
Is it possible to change the wording too reflect that they someone else signed in on their behalf or something of the like?
Look forward to hearing from you,

Agree - it does need a different word. I spend a lot of time explaining this situation too.

Yes families are constantly checking saying my child wasn't absent and I have to explain its just to confirm the sign in by an Educator. A separate message would not only avoid this but also assist training parents to remember to sign in and out.

Definitely agree - I am constantly emailing parents to explain this message as they are worried about using up their allowable absences.

Agreed. We are regularly having to explain the message to parents.

I agree with this.

YES! This wording has been confusing my families for years and we are constantly having to explain that it was not actually an absence! I would welcome this being amended.
