Fix known Bug when adding child in "QikKids next!" web app, if child gender not set

Selecting "Add Child to Roll" in the QK "next" web app gives error "There was an error retrieving this information. Please try again."
Tech support informed me this happens if the "Gender" of ANY active children is not set.
No user is likely to work out this cause themselves, so it will always result in a tech support request.
Change request: 
Web App either needs to handle the empty gender field (so the app works) OR provide a better error message (Or Qikkids should disallow empty Gender field).
Techs seem to be well aware of this bug asked me to post it here to get it into the development schedule.
